Delhi will soon witness the assembly elections and parties are gearing up for the big race. From indulging in blame games and verbal wars to taking campaigning to the next level, parties leave no stone unturned to bag votes from people.

In the same context, Arvind Kejriwal’s AamAadmi Party has come up with a new slogan ”AccheBeetePaanch Saal – Lage Raho Kejriwal”. The line, while praises Kejriwal government, aims to strike a chord with the locals and convince them to vote for the minister again.

‘CaaCaa Chi Chi’

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s slogan against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) became widely popular during the recent agitations against the move that rocked the entire country in December. The slogan which means CAA is Chi (not good), has been widely shared on Twitter.

‘UP Ko Yeh SaathPasand Hai’

The punchline for the SP-Congress tie-up for the 2017 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh became immensely popular among the people. Taking cue from it, even the BJP came up with a similar slogan that said, “UP Ko Yeh SaatPasand Hai” with the photograph of the party’s top seven leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Abki Bar Modi Sarkar’

the bjp’s2014 campaign, promising achche din, launched narendramodi as its prime ministerial candidate. the phrase was one of the most popular election phrases that spread like wild fire. another campaign by bjp that became hugely popular was ‘chai pe charcha‘.

‘Vikas Ki Chabhi, Dimple Bhabhi’

akhileshyadav’ssamajwadi party has always gathered attention with its one liners. the party’s   “vikaskichabhi, dimple bhabhi” during 2017 elections became the buzzword. other popular slogans by the party are “vikas ka pahiyaakhileshbhaiyya,” and “yeh jawanihaikurbaan, akhileshbhaiyyatere naam.”

‘Behen Ji Ko Aane Do’

Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party gained many eyeballs with its punchline ‘Behen Ji ko Aane Do’. It used the pharase in various contexts like ‘betiyo ko muskurane do, behenji ko aane do’, ‘Gaon khushalbanane ko, behenji ko aane do’, and many more.
