Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come up with a new campaign, named ‘Kejriwal aapke dwaar’, aiming to directly connect with the people of Delhi through pre-recorded messages.
The name of the website launched under the campaign is – www.welcomekejriwal.in
“We made a website through which I would be able to talk directly to the people of Delhi on different issues. I wanted to go to each house but it is not possible that I can visit 50 lakh houses. So I told my team about the wish and they suggested me a solution through technology,” Kejriwal said.
Launching the virtual door-to-door campaign, “I have come to your home to tell you about the work done by the AAP government in the last five years. Standing at the door. To open the door to your home, visit welcomekejriwal.in or give a missed call to 7690944444,” he tweeted in Hindi, along with a video.

People can give feedback, “that will reach to me directly. Also, people can give suggestions and complaints to me,” Kejriwal added.
The fields on the website include categories like water, health, infrastructure, etc The interactive link will also allow voters to see Kejriwal’s recorded video messages.
The website’s homepage has Kejriwal ringing a doorbell post which, the user will have to click on the welcome button to welcome the Delhi CM.
Earlier this month, the Chief Minister announced a “10-point guarantee card” that promised free power, 24-hour drinking water on tap and a world-class education to every child.
Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which won a huge 67 out 70 seats in the last Delhi elections, is facing a stiff challenge this time from the BJP this time. Voting for the elections will be held on February 8 with results due three days later.
