Four fully armed terrorists attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi on Monday morning. According to the police all the four terrorists have been shot dead.
Reports stated that the terrorists began an attack at the main gate and entered the stock exchange building and started firing.
According to police Four security guards, a policeman and a bystander were killed. Those injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail condemning the attack said that it was aimed at tarnishing our relentless war on terror. He also added that they have instructed the IG & security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators are caught alive & their handlers are given exemplary punishments.
No terror group has taken the responsibility of the attack.
The stock exchange is located in Karachi’s financial region, where the Pakistan State Bank as well as the headquarters of several national and international financial institutions are also situated.
