The RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) swept the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections 2019 as it won three of the four key seats, while the Congress-linked National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) bagged just one post.
The counting of votes for the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) election began from 8:30 am on Friday.
ABVP candidates Akshit Dahiya, Pradeep Tanwar and Shivangi Kharwal got the maximum votes for the post of President, Vice-president and Joint-secretary, respectively.

He claimed that the results were “an indication of the political mood in the country”. “Nationalistic ideologies and ethos of ABVP have made it a natural choice for the youth,” he said.
