With Maharashtra polls nearing, state chief minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed a massive gathering in Pune on Sunday. Along with the CM, 12 other senior BJP leaders attended the huge press conference.

While addressing the people, Fadnavis touched upon various issues expressing his views on the same.

When asked about the protest slogans against the Mahajanadesh rally in Baramati, Fadnavis said it is like Article 370 is imposed in Pawar family’s bastion Baramati that no other party can come and organise a rally there.

Talking about the objectives that are yet to be accomplished, Fadnavis said that the irrigation scam case investigation against former Deputy CM Ajit Pawar is in its final stage and the case is in the high court.

Fadnavis would be happy to work in the Narendra Modi cabinet if asked to.

Fadnavis also said the common people have lost their faith in Congress leadership including former president Rahul Gandhi whose comments on scrapping of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir were latched on by Pakistan.

Fadnavis had earlier clarified that he would return as the chief minister of the NDA alliance in Maharashtra once again after the elections, due in October this year.

Fadnavis organised the press meet before he embarks upon on the Mahajandesh Yatra towards Satara. Fadnavis said the Mahajandesh Yatra up until now has covered 3,018 kms going through 107 assembly constituencies in just 18 days.

The minister added that looking at the huge support that his ‘Mahajanadesh Yatra’ receiving, the BJP will have an “unprecedented” victory in the upcoming state assembly polls.

When asked about the huge hoardings put on routes of the yatra, he said if the party workers think that by putting up up such banners, they will get the ticket (for the upcoming polls), “it is not so”.
