In a big relief for the entertainment industry, Maharashtra government has announced that the film and television industry can resume shooting in the none-containment zones of the state from today.
The state government issued various guidelines for the production houses. The producers are supposed to seek permission from the respective district collectors in order to start their shooting schedules. To shoot at the film City, permissions from the Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation are necessary.
The guidelines include that all staff members have to compulsorily download Aarogya Settu aap in their compatible devices.
The guidelines also states that it is important to maintain 33 percent crew only on the set excluding the main cast.
It is also given that the shooting should take place in a gated premises manned by the security guards.
The guidelines also include that the artistes have to work with the minimum support staff in order to avoid the spread of the virus.
Various members of the entertainment fraternity last week appealed to the state government in order to resume work as the nation is under lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic since March this year.
The Maharashtra government extended its lockdown till June 30 easing some restrictions.
