BJP MP Hema Malini has also jumped in the campaign spree for upcoming polls in Haryana. Batting for her party candidates, the actress-turned-politician showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the country is in “safe hands”, under his leadership.

Malini also praised the Manohar Lal Khattar-led BJP government in the state for providing a clean and transparent administration and giving jobs on merit.

Malini said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken historical decisions for the betterment of the nation.India has been attaining fame at global level since Modi took over the reins as prime minister, she added.

“It is the Modi government which has worked to ensure welfare of every section of the society without any discrimination. Special efforts are being made to empower women by carrying out ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (BBBP) mission and providing them facilities to get higher education for making their career bright,” said the actress.

Malini, who is an MP from Mathura, campaigned for incumbent Education Minister Rambilas Sharma from Mahendragarh by addressing a poll rally at Devi Lal Park in the state.

She claimed considerable change had been witnessed across the nation in terms of development during the past five years.

“The Modi government stressed upon cleanliness to make India beautiful. It worked to root out corruption and to provide good governance. Even, PM Modi’s vision of development was being appreciated at international level,” she added.

“When prime minister was chief minister of Gujarat, I campaigned for him at that time. Today, I feel immensely happy that as PM he has taken country to such heights where no one else could.We will not get another prime minister like him,” she added.

Haryana goes to polls on October 21 and poll campaigning ends on Saturday. The ruling BJP has set a target of winning more than 75 seats in the 90-member Assembly.
