Celebrations broke out at BJP offices across the country as the party swept away the general elections 2019 with massive win leading in 294 seats. Congratulatory messages poured in for Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is set for his second term to run the country. Modi’s victory is being described variously as a tsunami and a landslide.

“It was not an election but Modi tsunami. I heartily congratulate Narendra Modi,” Consumer Affairs Minister and Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas Paswan said in a tweet.
“It’s nothing short of a landslide, a political tsunami sweeping entire country, east or west, BJP is the best, is a reality. North to south people have voted for a clear, unambiguous choice… country must progress further under the leadership of Narendra Modi… “ Prabhu said in tweet.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, Modi counterpart from the UPA too congratulated Modi accepting his defeat. “Today is not the day to comment on the mandate, today we just congratulate to the new Prime Minister who has been elected,” Gandhi said.
