Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 70th birthday today.
Birthday wishes for the PM Narendra Modi are pouring in from all quarters, including from his colleagues, President Ram Nath Kovind to Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
“PM Modi has devoted each moment of his life towards making India strong, safe and self-reliant. I am lucky to serve the nation under his leadership. I along with all countrymen wish for PM’s healthy and long life,” Amit Shah tweeted in Hindi.
“Wishing PM Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday,” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Chief Minsiter of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal wished for PM’s healthy and long life in his tweet. “Wishing you a very happy birthday Sir. I pray for your long and healthy life,” he tweeted.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is up against Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government and also spoken against many A-listers of the Hindi film industry, extended wishes to PM Narendra Modi on his 70th birthday. Kangana said the common man of this country has immense respect for him and she thinks the countrymen are lucky to have a prime minister like him. The actress also ridiculed PM Modi’s detractors saying that such people are very few in numbers and it is just a propaganda of few selective.
Congress leader and MP from Thiruvananthapuram, Shashi Tharoor wished PM Narendra Modi “a happy birthday and many healthy and successful years in the service of the nation”.

Born to Hiraba and Damodardas Modi in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat, Modi is credited for becoming the longest-serving Indian PM of non-Congress origin, besides the fourth longest-serving prime minister in the history of India.
