There are some clear pointers that the system in India has got broken and rotten to the core with the annihilated economy honking everyday:
The regime has not yet paid the dues in terms of Gst returns to the states and the annihilated Msme sector. The FinMin walks away on questions about performance (you can check it up with their farcical press conference videos). The chief trumpeter honks about stimulus, quantum jump whichever he could remember fast without catching his breath. He knows that his speech acts as opiate for his followers. For that matter the Fiscal stimulus would be nothing but cosmetic accounting changes and adjustments done on the subsidies, DBT and other aids to bring the value upto near about 20 lakh crore in INR. One can not expect an uneducated bunch of people chalking out plans for Fiscal stimulus (Do they even know that Fiscal stimulus is Aggregate Demand shortfall / multiplier, do they even know what Fiscal means? I seriously doubt that). To belong to their cohort you need to flush the brains and sense of morality out of your body and mind and you should have the confidence to peddle bullshit at stratospheric level. Basically you need to belong to a cohort of Nithyanand kind of people.
The lockdown (literally turning out to be useless on a public scale) was implemented without any latency or adjustment period given to the true builders of the nation- “Migrant work force”. That resulted in their painful mass exodus with thousands dieing either out of starvation or harsh weather or being run over by goods train. In the midst of the hellish chaos breaking lose over India, the party had the shameless gawl to celebrate anniversary in office. Indian Airforce could have easily provided for ferrying of the workforce to their native states free of any freaking cost. The inference is that this chunk of population has been treated as expendables. Were they not part of the sabka sath sabka vikas? Probably Not. But at that time the nation saw the vocal self declared leader purchase private jet (at a cost of 8500 cr INR). Why? So that they can go around the world begging for money in the name of various crises this month onwards. But be assured, all of the funds would be funneled to the cares fund which cannot be audited by any of public auditors and is outside the purview of RTI. The only auditor who would be able to audit is one Sunil Kumar Gupta(owner of SARC and associates Co. formed on 23rd April 2020). This person is a close sanghi acolyte of the regime. We have to wait to see whether the case in the Bombay High court demanding accountability from the cares fund gets Ranjanised, Bobdetised or Loyafied. So, in summary India lost it’s geographical labour arbitrage while the party kept minting money under it’s aegis.
The French president comes forward to help the people distressed due to Amphan cyclone, and here the desi truculent bigots are still busy disaster profiteering out of the current crises (under the name of Cares fund). And the prime ignoramus garbles about giving aid when in fact he owes Bengal Gst credit dues to the tune of 12260 cr.
The indifferent and inefficient leader who has similarity to Nero, seems to ignore that many of his sycophant followers are reverting back to normal human condition after wearing out of the overdosing effects of his opiate speech. It is funny watching the transition of these sorry souls from bhaktard to a person in need of rehab. Numerous of his gnomic followers are waking up after getting kicked out of their jobs in high income countries. Why? Because these retards kept peddling religion based hatred in their host countries. (Examples include a professor in UAE, a peace council member in New Zealand, a Bank of Bahrain employee). All of this is happening as the International relations regime created by the founding fathers of the nation falters out flat. The incursion of the Chinese forces into the Indian territory and silent servile acceptance of the new status quo has lobotomized the sanghi pride.
Mass gatherings were flagrantly organized at Ahmedabad, Agra and Delhi just within weeks of WHO laying out guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid19. This shows the parallels with Sheik chilli who was an epitome of goof-ups. (Not to be confused with the teacher of Dara Shikoh who had the same name.) But who gives a damn about WHO when we have a Ramdev giving guidelines to provide Coronil as a solution for Covid19 without any solid antiviral research to back it up? Taali, Thali and pot clanging will keep the people engaged furlongs away from reality.
Eye popping ideas like Smart cities remained on files board and in city hall debate and discussion fora. I attended one such forum way back in 2015 at New Delhi. The air of discussion of the forum was such that the next year itself India would see at least 50 green field projects of Smart city. What’s the scenario on the ground now? Amravati has turned into a white elephantine ghost town, Dholera has serious issues with the Agrarian landowners and Aurangabad has turned the city mission into a transport remodeling project. It was all castle in the air story just like the “make in India” which was nothing but a renamed version of the NIMZ policy developed under UPA 2. In hindsight, I think that the other boys who went to the Smart city conclave just to enjoy their sumptuous banquets were far more practical.
India has been faring worse than (almost)all of it’s neighbours on the GHI scale way before the unplanned lockdowns broke the economic spine. The hunger will hammer the women folk a lot harder if one considers the overall familial burden pressed upon her. The current scenario is going to get far more troublesome for most. In another angle of the same larger story, the land which claims to worship Sita is the most unsafe place for women in the world. That’s natural(sarcasm intended) given the fact that all Indian men of the Bhaktard category proudly say that Maa-Sita gave the agnipariksha. But none dare ask their hero why the hell did he himself not go through the fire along with Maa-Sita. That would hurt their false and vacant male pride. That somehow describes the historical social constructs behind the current level of social, political & nutritional safety for women in this country. None dare know that Sita’s father-Janaka ploughed the land of Mithila when it was struck by a drought. That was how he got Sita as Bhumiputri. Does their lord in the ‘Lok Kalyan Marg’ have the gumption to walk the path like Janaka along with the suffering peasants ? No. He doesn’t have that. He is far from the truth and actual work on the ground. He can only blabber about man ki baat, not kaam ki baat. Occasionally he can stand with a broom in his hand in front of bootlicking media DSLR. That’s it !! He does not have the required strengths, forget having them; he can’t even spell strength in one go(remember the meeting with a delegation where one of the secretaries had to handle his spelling goof-up).He doesn’t have any similarity to any of the ‘noble characters’ of his favourite tale whose hero he eulogizes so much in utter ignorance.
