As Maharashtra polls near, NCP chief Sharad Pawar was recently seen in full campaign mood. He was seen addressing the rally even in heavy rains in the state’s Satara region.
The minister’s photos and videos, where he is seen continuing his speech even when it started pouring heavily, are going viral with netizens praising the leader’s spirit.

A video of the NCP chief drenched in rain and admitting his “mistake” in choosing candidates for the national elections in Satara has gone viral, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked him for not “having courage” to contest Lok Sabha polls from the constituency.
Pawar, while admitting the error, said: “When one makes a mistake, one should admit it. I made a mistake while selecting candidate for the Lok Sabha poll. I accept this publicly. But I am happy that to correct the mistake, every young and old person in Satara is waiting for October 21,” he added.
The four-time Maharashtra chief minister, ex-leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, who has held key ministries in the Centre like defence and agriculture, won massive praise on the social media. “Satara is again creating history….the NCP got a new energy,” Pawar’s daughter and Baramati MP SupriyaSule said.
The Varun raja is blessing us…this will create a wonder in Maharashtra politics…the beginning will happen from October 21, I am sure of it,” Pawar said amidst thunderous applause and making an emotional connect with the people.
