Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener Arvind Kejriwal, who swept the Delhi assembly elections with a landslide victory recently, will take oath as chief minister for the third consecutive time on February 16 at Ramlila Maidan.
Though the party has clearly stated that they will not invite political leaders from other states, around 50 people, who helped build Delhi during Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) rule in the last five years will share the stage with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during his swearing-in ceremony. These include some selected teachers, bus marshals, architects, doctors, engineers and fire fighters.
These special invitees also include Angadwadi workers, farmers, sanitation workers, auto and metro drivers.
And one special guest who is set to steal the limelight at the event is the “Little Mufflerman” whose original name is Avyaan Tomar and was first spotted at the AAP headquarters at ITO on the result day of the Delhi Assembly election on February 11.
The one-year-old was declared “cutest child of the day” by netizens. Little Tomar had donned CM Kejriwal’s maroon-coloured sweater, mufflers, a fake moustache as well as spectacles on result’s day.

It is expected that there will not be a big shuffle in the cabinet. Hinting the same, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, “There is nothing wrong if Arvind Kejriwal ji thinks that the same cabinet should be repeated. People are happy with the work of the cabinet and we won the elections on basis of our work. We will continue to build and maintain the confidence of the people.”
Nearly 45,000 chairs have been installed in Ramlila Maidan and as many as 12 large LED screens have been installed so that people can witness the oath-taking of Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet.
In the recently held Assembly election, the Aam Aadmi Party pulled out a stunning victory, bagging 62 of the 70 Assembly seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party won the remaining eight seats. The Congress party, which ruled the national capital for 15 years, drew a blank.
