With few days of campaigning left for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections, it is now Prime Minister Narendra Modi versus Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the poll-bound state.

Prime Minister Modi will be addressing four rallies in Haryanathis week.

Modi is scheduled to address an election rally in Ballabhgarh on Monday.This will be the first of the four rallies the Prime Minister is scheduled to address this week in the state. He will be in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, and Dadri on October 15 while the last rally before the state elections will be held in the Jat-dominated Hissar on October 18.

The four rallies of the Modi have been slotted in as many regions of the state to cover most parts.

PM’s campaign is expected to focus on Manohar Lal Khattar’s no-corruption image along with delivering on central social welfare schemes. Hewill also play along developmental works done by the centre along with the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP unit in Haryana had desired for more election rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the PM has ruled that four of his rallies starting next week would be enough in the poll-bound state.

BJP President Amit Shah will begin his campaign from Kaithal on Wednesday and he and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh would be addressing over a dozen rallies apiece in Haryana.

Meanwhile, On Sunday, the BJP released its manifesto and made a host of promises ahead of the state elections.

In the manifesto titled ”Mharesapno ka Haryana” (my dreams of Haryana), the BJP made plenty of promises ranging from launching Haryana start-up mission, constitution of a new ”Yuva Vikas and Rozgar” ministry and one All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), doubling of farmers’ income by 2022 and increase in pension.
