TV heartthrob and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, who starred in several popular television shows, was cremated on Friday afternoon in Mumbai, a day after his tragic and untimely demise that shocked his fans across the country and the entertainment world.
Sidharth’s mother Rita Shukla and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill were inconsolable at his funeral at the Oshiwara crematorium, where his body arrived from the Cooper hospital in a flower-decked ambulance. A large number of his relatives, friends and colleagues including Asim Riaz, Aly Goni, Gurmeet Choudhary, Rashami Desai, Mahira Sharma, Shefali Jariwala, Arti Singh and Rahul Mahajan, were also present to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
As the actor’s death leaves his fans and family shocked. Reports have emerged saying that the Balika Vadhu star was advised to go easy on his workout. On Wednesday, September 1, Sidharth, who breathed his last on September 2, returned from a meeting at 8 pm and went jogging in his building compound at around 10 pm. After coming home, he had some food and went to sleep. He rarely missed out on his workout regime.
Sources revealed that doctors had asked the actor to go slow on his exercise and workout regime.
On the tragic night, Sidharth had woken up at around 3 am and complained of uneasiness and chest pain to his mother, Rita Shukla. She gave him water. After drinking water, the actor slept and did not wake up.
Amidst all, Sidharth Shukla’s gym trainer recently had a conversation, wherein he said that the actor had undergone treatment for his feet a couple of months ago. He revealed that he had twisted his feet and was prescribed antibiotics by a neurologist from Kokilaben Hospital.
Trainer Sonu Chourasia said, “This was about two months ago and he took a break of 15 days as the doctors told him not to exert his feet. And that time he did tell me that his stomach had begun bloating because of the steroids and had to do something about it.”.
Sonu also said that Sidharth had rejoined training after treatment but he still had a problem. The trailer further added, “He still had a problem as he could only do straight running but sideways was difficult so we had to do some physio exercises to correct it.”.
Several reports state that his alleged overexertion of workouts could be the reason behind Sidharth Shukla’s death.
