ISRO’s smallest rocket SSLV has been launched. ISRO Chief S Somnath told after the SSLV launch that all the stages performed as per their expectation. But some data loss was observed in the terminal phase. It was the space agency’s first small satellite launch vehicle that suffered a data loss in the terminal stage, causing us to lose contact.

SSLV is an earth observation satellite IOS-02 and a satellite built by the students which carried Azadi SET. The objective of ISRO is to create a large share of all such fast-growing markets. After a countdown of nearly seven and a half hours, the 34-metre-long SSLV took off at 9:18 am to put the satellite in the designated orbits.

Friends, this information has been given by Somnath, President of Indian Space Research. He told that the remaining 3 phases performed as expected but in the end, he was also very disappointed as he lost contact due to data loss.

S Somnath told the Mission Control Center a few minutes after the launch at Sriharikota that all the people performed as expected. He said that we will soon give information about the performance of the launch vehicle as well as the position of the satellites.
