Agnipath’s scheme of restoration in the Indian Army has been issued, which has seen very violent demonstrations.  There is a possibility of further riots in Bihar under the Bharat Bandh called on Saturday. It is also seen that some parties are supporting this lock-in in Bihar like Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Left Parties, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP).

Even during the agitation, the possibility of misuse of internet media was seen in which the government has banned the internet and various social media sites till Sunday in 15 districts of the state. Such reports have revealed that the young are creating a riot against the Agnipath Recruitment scheme.

According to sources, a lot of violence erupted on Friday, due to which the government has now taken strict action. It is being told that the Police Headquarters has deployed 45 Company Additional Police Forces in various districts.

Internet services were banned by the government in 15 districts even before the Bihar bandh on June 18 against the Agnipath scheme. Apart from this, it was announced to ban 22 social media sites and apps including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and YouTube till Sunday.

All the districts have been alerted by the Police Headquarters. Instructions have also been announced by them to deal strictly with the miscreants. Apart from this, the process of running a special campaign to identify the perpetrators will continue.
