Three people caughted printing fake currency notes utilizing a shading printer and scanner at their house were captured in Hyderabad this Monday. In light of a hint, the Rachakonda police caught the trio and held onto Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) of valuation of Rs 10 lakh in the fake notes of Rs 500. These notes were to be made available to run in the market.
As per a press note, Karam Nagendraprasad (30), Bandari Goutham (29), and Tubbakula Naresh (25), the three captured were charged with relevant sections. They had incubated an arrangement to bring in pain-free income by printing counterfeit money notes. They purchased a shading printer and a scanner and printed duplicates at Gowtham’s home. These copies were then cut into the size of real Rs 500 notes and stacked in groups of 100 notes each.
Through their sources, they had reached operators with a consent to convey and peddle FICN at 1:5 proportion. These specialists blend the fake money notes in packs of veritable notes and give it to their contacts for a commission, the test found. They favored swarmed spots to flow these phony notes generally during evenings.
On Monday night, Police caught them when they were headed to convey the fake notes to their specialists. A case has been registered against them under sections 420, 489 (A)(B)(C)(D)(E), and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code at Ghatkesar police station. The three charged, police found, had been previously captured, that too, by Hyderabad Police.
